Default Prokat 2660 Wiring diagram ?

Anybody have a pic or 2 of wiring diagram handy?

2005 PK 2660 CC with 4 battery setup, looks like 2 house batts running parallel. I need to make sense of a couple issues with wiring and it would sure be helpful. Found another model on here but not the 2660 through searching.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks

Contact Katman2860. He was a Prokat dealer and is multi-hull pro.

Default First Kat

Hello everyone, just purchased my first ProKat. A 2001 2860 CC. Does anyone have any documentation such as wiring harness, owners manual, diagrams of locations of pumps, junctions, wire routing, etc. I would be more than happy to pay for photocopying and mailing expenses. All help appreciated!

The pics above should cover your 2860CC, (not WA models).

All pumps should be in the bilge in either of the sponsons except the fresh water wash down

My 2660CC has...
Starboard sponson:
raw water wash down
livewell water intake
fishbox macerator
2 bilge pumps
Port sponson:
Bennett trim tab pump
livewell intake/recirc pump with remote valve
fishbox macerator
2 bilge pumps

Fresh water wash down pump in in the console near the fresh water tank

Main wiring harnesses run under the deck up to the console.

Again, the above is on my 2660CC.

roozter, you the man! thanks very much for your response. Really appreciate the location data as my boat has a dead bulge and dead livewell pump. Also all the labeling on my switches is gone so I will be trying to figure those out and relabel.

Fishin Guy: I have a ProKat, and am missing the wiring diagram. I tried my best to decifer the images you sent, just can't do it. Is there any chance you could scan and Email the wiring diagrams to me with enough resolution to be able to read them? Alternatively, I would be more than willing to pay you to Xerox them and snail mail them. Many thanks, BruceEdward

Default Wiring Diagrams

Ditto for me Fishin Guy, I've tried to print them but the resolution is not very good. I would be happy to pay reproduction costs and mailing expenses.

fishin guy: Many thanks for your effort, this really helps, I am in your debt! If I can be a pest, the one image that had so much info on it that I couldn't adequately resolve/enlarge it was the Wiring Harness. If you could Xerox enlarge it, then scan that one, it would take the digital smear out. In any event, thank you very much.

Fishin Guy: That has better resolution, I can make out virtually everything. Many thanks, this will be invaluable as I walk thru the wiring.

Default 2800 CC Plumbing

Roozter,

My 2001 2800CC appears to be just like your 2660.

Why were there two livewell fill pumps?

My livewell has 2 bottom drains. One drain returns to the aft recirculating pump. The other bottom drain runs to the Starboard midships thru hull (below water line).

How do you seal your bottom livewell drain that runs to the thru hull? Mine has a 1 1/2" line with no valve. Do you use a stand pipe? Plug? Any idea how it came from the factory?

Just starting to figure out what is there and what needs repair. I think mine is missing the cable from the switch to the valve but I see cables available on the internet. The valve seems a bit stiff and missing the clamp for the cable. Probably need a valve and cable? Having checked the pump to see it works yet.

Does your boat have any seacocks? Mine does not and that plastic hose from the thru hull to the recirculating pump is a pretty scary!

The 2860 was made with a PVC standpipe. That was used to control the water level by allowing it to build from the thru hull and using the top of the pipe to control the overall water level. Note - do not block that drain hole in the bottom unless you want to fill the baitwell!
