Default Transom splash well trim

I am repowering my boat next week and after pulling old engine off ,the aluminum trim that covers the joint from the cap and the hull looks old. I wanted to replace it with a stainless steel trim. Anyone recommend any sources for this? Maybe n south Florida area? It's is a 208 grady white

The same aluminum trim on my GW Explorer was letting water go right into the transom via that gap, you might want to check yours to see if you have the same issue. I ended up having a local fiberglass shop seal the gap with resin and gelcoat. Looks great now with no trim pieces.

With odd items like this I like to try and find it in the Giant west catalog, then shop it online.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but its easier to navigate a catalog than a website when you don't really know the name of what you are looking for.

I do like the glass idea though. I had an open transom on an old Sea craft (my last boat) that drove me crazy, but it was purely an aesthetic thing and I never really got around to replacing it. Glassing it in would look sharp.

Maybe a pic from second poster to show the glass? I'd like to see it.

I can post some pics tomorrow. The boat is in storage a few miles away.

Here's an attempt at showing the glass job on my transom that replaced the trim.
