Just an impeller or the water pump kit? Impeller was supposedly changed not long before I bought the boat about 8 months ago. Wanting to change it for piece of mind, a new impeller is cheap!

Bad move, I suggest you buy a complete water pump kit and then replace the parts that are worn. Pay particular attention to the stainless wear plate, if it’s not smooth, replace it.
