Default Suzuki change oil alarm

My 40 hour alarm is now going off on my DF200A. I changed the oil myself but I can’t get the alarm to stop. The manual says to turn ignition to ON and pull out the emergency stop stop switch lanyard thing and then pull the switch 3 times in 10 seconds.

ive done that but it’s not working. I have a Simrad and a Suzuki fuel system manager. I went in both and turned the alarm warning off but still not working. The Simrad has the alarm alert meessage on it even though i turned the setting off.

any help would be greatly appreciated

So I figured out the problem. I had a bad kill switch and it needed replacing.

the procedure above is how you clear the alarm so at least I know I was doing it right.
