Default What Lb foam for stringers?

Im ready to start building stringers and I keep getting different opinions on what LB Divinycell to use for stringers. Originally my boat had 1x Wood material for stringers and was completely foamed in! Im putting all indeck boxes so I wont be putting bulkheads back exactly where they were before and everything under the deck wont be foamed in. That being said I was gonna go with 1 1/2 to 2in foam for stringers but everywhere Ive called about materials has had different opinions on whether H60 or H80 is recommended for stringers! I thought 2in H80 would be more available!

1 1/2 H60 should be enough. Its more about the glass than the stringer structure itself.

If the layup schedule over the stringer is right the core is merely an expendable form.

If the layup is light then the core is very important to the structure of the boat.

So I ended up finding 5 sheets of 1in H80 yesterday! They’re saying it’s gonna be awhile before any shipments will be coming in because of this virus! Like 8-10 weeks to get anything bigger. I’m trying to figure out wether to forge ahead and go with the 1in or try to get some 1/2in and laminate together. I have four stringers 2 20in H x 20ft L and 2 15in H x 16ft L so they’re pretty big. I’ll probably cut all the pieces, build them on the table, glass each side then tab them in!
