Default How is your line-x holding up?

I know there are a lot of threads about this.. I am interested in hearing from people that have it for 2 to 3 years or more..

I’m guessing you want to know about keel guard....not in a truck bed?

Truck bed for me...13 years and a couple dings over the past two years have lifted.

Curious to see what others report about keels.

Folks are using it on their aluminum instead of painting or powder coating

I don't think you are allowed to post anything except the following on THT:

"All powder coat sucks"

"Line X is the best thing in the world, other than a Freeman boat."

So you will not likely get an accurate response.

3 seasons on my line x’ed t-top and leaning post both still look new, only care has been soapy water at end of trips

one thing: the boat is stored inside and under a cover when not in use so can’t say its been tested by the UV much

Yes they do. I had a Rhodan on my last boat and I picked it up from them and it was on it when I bought it.

Take this for what it is. I build a lot of commercial use trucks and spec things to match customers request. At times they spec line-x linings. I have seen trucks that where built over 10 years ago and I know they use and abuse these things beyond belief. I know it holds up to a wide range on PH levels, very high foot traffic, fork lifts, pallets an more crap then I know.

I have there top of the line with the clear/Kevlar in my truck bed. Looks better than others without the clear but it's not like it was 5 years ago.

All of the boats with LineX (Ultra by Sarasota LineX) I’ve seen, either in our shop or on service calls, have been flawless. Most of them are several years old and this includes Freeman’s used as charter boats in Venice Louisiana.
