I don't have a dog in this fight, however OP you might be interested in this thread that was started today in the LineX forum. Sarasota LineX has not responded as of this post, but it is worth following the thread especially if you want white LineX.

Guys I wanted to update that the link above references a top we sprayed in 2014 with our XS-650 material prior to Line-X Ultra. Both materials are full thickness UV with a chemistry different then what we use in trucks. The above customer and I are in contact and I aim to make sure he stays happy with our product and service. -Brian

Is it wise to use the plastic washers on the screws, or is this not necessary for line x. Seems like these areas are where the peeling starts..
I had my top and deck done with white line-x. I was very very disappointed in the product. It was impossible to keep clean. This was a few years ago and I'm sure it was a different product but I was told back then that it was gonna be great and easy to clean. That was totally false. Anything else you want to know feel free to ask.

I only have Line-x on my rhodan trolling motor. I had the hatch to my SUV open while backing up which resulted in the trolling motor and the hatch meeting and lets just say the line-x is completely fine other than the red paint transfer from the hatch.

I don't have Linex, but that Ford Raptor is killer! The Linex I've seen on boats looks good too. Sorry, no pictures of Mahi handy.

I had my deck sprayed in 2013, the build is documented here:

Headhunter's 31' Contender Dive Conversion

We have beat the hell out of it for over 6 years and 2000 hours. Scuba tanks, weight belts etc dropped and banged around, speared fish coming in the boat thrashing around, etc. It has help up remarkably well to the abuse. It doesn't need to be waxed. Mine has been mostly easy to clean, except for a few small areas. I just redid my fuel tanks and it had to be ground down, so I'll be heading back there soon to respray the deck. I'm sure with 6 more years of practice they will be even better.

No. You would be being a bitch bringing up something four days later. He and I were just messing with each other. We moved on.

I bought a Sailfish CC from Florida a little over a year ago. The prior owner had the T--Top and leaning post done in the XS-650 coating in white by Sarasota Line-X. It's probably going on 3 years now and it looks pretty much like new. Little harder to clean than powder coat if it gets dirty, but not bad. I think it looks pretty good on my particular setup.

Brian at sarasota linex did my armstrong bracket in smooth finish on the bottom and textured on the top of the bracket, and it has been awesome. everyone has an opinion, and mine is that Sarasota LineX is the go to shop for any marine related work. He is not doing Freemans' work without good reason. If Freeman trusts his product / work, then i am pretty sure we will all be ok with what he is turning out. If you dont like the look, then powder coat. Simple.

Not boat related but similar. I have white Ultra that has been sprayed on my truck bumpers and side steps the white shows dirt way worse than most anything and is a PIA to clean but as far as holding up it has done well over the last year, I have an old bumper painted to match the truck and over time chipped and such so not having to deal with that part makes the cleaning it worth it IMO. I did have mine done locally in NC, Brian was not the one that did it

Had it sprayed in my 99silverado when new, used hard, still as good as new and will def get it sprayed in a new truck. I think I paid 425 usd in 99 . Seemed like a lot for back then but was worth every penny.
Im not into pretty trucks, I like function and durability so for what its worth this original line x has stayed very black and not faded much at all.
