Default Cuda Craft Boatworks

Anybody know what happened to them? I was browsing Instagram and found “cuda craft boatworks” who posted a bunch of stuff a year ago and then nothing. I’m familiar with the original boats from the 60’s, and that the son of the founder built a bunch in mid 2000’s but they went under.

These guys were apparently based out of Miami and were making the classic 19, and a 24 that was designed by Ray Bond as well.

Big fan of the boats, I really hope I can get my hands on one soon.

Heard there were coming back again, they had a well known boat designer do some updates on some of the hulls. This was a little over a year ago. Was privy to some of the updates but seems kinda quiet now. Good luck, wish I could help more.

Yeah on some of their post they said Chris Morejohn redesigned the deck layout of their boats. Anyone else have any info?

Interesting to see this come up.....When I was 15-16 yrs old I was helping them build those boats back in the early '70s. They were doing business in a warehouse area off of SW 184th Street or SW 185th Terr in West Perrine, FL.

Friend of my dad had one built in the early 70's (19ft) and my dad had a 25 Speedcraft, talk about two boats way ahead of their time.

I remember they had an office in the warehouses right north of The Falls right of 136 St. They made some heavy duty boats.

The 19 and 24 show up from time to time on Craigslist.(GREAT BOATS)
Dont forget the 17' 6" flats boat they made. They called it an 18 Bonefish.
Besides Chris Morejohn another boat builder by the name Raul Mas had his hands involved with the boats as well.
