Dude now he has had about another 300 views on his IG page from this thread.........maybe..just maybe this was his total reason to start the bitch.

Most people don't offer this, legitimate businesses do not accept this. Do you skip out on the taxes from the income from your IG page?

Thank you sir, "Your Happy Meal is at the next window." Just take your boat to them, have it fixed and get on with your " life " ?

I said this they said this. But facts are they installed a crooked panel and lost my ignition keys and could not get me new ones for 3 weeks. They back pedaled on their word to come to my house to fix issue.
Just doesnt seem like a company to do business with.

This got very out of hand.

once the R_ventura user shows up on your thread the sanity level and rational goes out the window...Ha!

At the end of the day what is on your boat shows the level of thought, quality and attention to detail International Marine provides.

Seeing how hard it has been for you to get it resolved I would say they are happy with their work and really dont care about you (they have your $$ right?)

Do you really want them to fix it?

If that was their final product and it’s functional I would fix it yourself, who know what else they will screw up seeing round 1.

It really should be an easy fix, did you contact Whitewater to see if you can buy the recessed part like on Coores’? Its not a hard part to Fab up so any glass shop in the area could make one too

Get one of them, mount it properly, and then recess the IM panel within it. EZPZ

well, a couple points...

1 - If you own an expensive boat, stop nitpicking every nickle to save some chump change...."can I get a discount here? what about here? how about here?" Get a solid price. Get competing quotes, make a call and pay the dang bill.

2 - You do not go in for a spleen removal and then when you find out, after getting home, that there is a sponge left in and ask the doctor to come to the house and "fix it". Take it where they are, make them fix it, ask for a hat or something for the time and money it cost you to bring it back to them to fix their mistake.. by all means, make sure they have some skin in the game.. but asking them to come to your house to fix it is just childish. You own an expensive hole in the wall....we can pretty much assume you do not work at Taco Bell serving burritos (no offence to you Taco Bell people.. I love your food...).. so take some time off, or arrange to take it on a weekend or day you are already off and drop it off with them.. and get it fixed.

3 - Lastly.... going on and on about this when you have a solution....maybe not the best.. maybe not exactly what you want, with other adults listening and saying, "ok.. I hear ya... you had / have a legitimate issue..."... you do not get into a spat.. you say, "IM... I am not happy with the results. How can we make this right? Can I drop it off with you on a day I am not working? Can you do something to change what I think about this every time I look at it? Hiow do we make it so I do not just 'take it in and fix it' but I change how I think about it when I see it. so we both win?" that is how adults act.

And.. get it fixed.. then post pictures of you and your non-crooked boat panel on the water, sipping a drink, with a fish on a hook and a babe on your knee.

All is forgiven and you make more friends.

Seems a no-brainer to me.. I like fish.. I like babes.. I remember when they liked me... was a dream, but I am okay with that too...at least they were not crooked.. just sayin...

R

At the end of the day he may want it lined up with he right side of the console. We lined it up with the left side. No problem we will do it however you would like it done. I will also ensure a tech is available when you pull in so you cant wait for it. If he would like it one on a Saturday or a Sunday so he does not have to take off from work we will also make that happen. If he would rather come after work one night I will have a tech here to get him handled.

Different price for CC vs cash is illegal in Florida, although some rare places do it.

Actually every truck stop with a digital sign in Florida flashes the price for CC and the "discounted price" for gas/fuel. Perfectly legal to offer a discount for cash.

OK OP very reasonable reason why they cant come to you to do the work

you've already decided you are not bringing the boat back to them so moot point

I think the OP should team up with Out on the Reef to make a new You tube video...you know measuring stick and all. Then try to bring down a business that is trying to make it right. Sheesh...drive the boat up there on a Saturday and let them fix it. Move on with life!!

So next time you go to get gas tell them you are paying cash and would like $20 worth of gas for $15,let us know where it is.

Mike

I understand to a point but as a professional how could you (maybe not “you” but your company) suggest or not at least point out that putting the ignition switch where it was, is an issue?

if the customer says its not straight, its not straight and if there were varied reference points then they should of been discussed/ sorted with the customer before installing.

Was unaware of this change https://www.tampabay.com/news/politi...harges/2252742 but prior to this the rules were somewhat different.

WTF does GAS prices have to do with this issue??

Oh never mind I see where IMM would/may pay his gas to drive down to Boynton.

Just to be reasonable IMM should throw in a case of Gran Marnier, 2 Tickets to the Final Four, an 18 year old swedish hooker with her twin sister, etc, etc,,,,,,,

New 28 whitewater

Were you given a cost for flush vs not flush? IMM suggested that the existing switch panel 'recess' was cracked...if it is...did he give you a cost for repairing it?

Did you specify where to put keys?

looks level as well.

Honestly do not see "crooked" in OP's original pics on page 1. Unless he considers offset port to starboard crooked.

The funny part if you left out a few details. When you picked up the boat you called me and said you love the way it came out and asked me if you could get a discount if you posted about your experience on your Instagram page (OSHINE). You indicated you had about 500,000 followers. I respectfully declined your offer, but you had no mention of any issue or anything. Now after 2 months of you having your boat a thread is started because your a knob got loose on your steering wheel. Does not sound right to me but either way I will fix it for you at no charge. Please know I would have preferred you mention it at the time of pick up and if it was in fact crooked or not perfect in anyway I would have addressed it then for you.

No appointment needed, I will personally ensure you are not having to wait as your time is valuable.

Mike
Wait!! 500k followers on Instagram? How the hell does that happen?

The gas station cash price is because they don’t have to pay theCC company their percentage on the sale of the gas. Not because they’re not paying taxes.
