So, I am in the process of building a ZCB Boats 26 Freemason Open (two different caps Open and Bay), pretty much the ultimate hybrid. Built and designed to do everything well. From Chandy Islands to Horn Mountain in the northern gulf. Get to OBA quickly from Biloxi, etc...I will be updating periodically so that all on this site can see the quality and thought process going into this boat. Boat being designed and built by ZCB / Z Marine in Ocean Springs, MS. Many on this site know the quality of their work, see their 18 Curlew. Construction is top notch. Fit and Finish is incredible. Boat is huge. Currently, demo boat is in final stages. I am hull number 4. My boat will be designed and outfitted for all fishing in our area and cruising. Hull number 2 pulled from mold. Hull 3 close. Currently there are 10-11 26 Freemasons on order both open and bay cap. Mostly friends who all like to fish. Many on this site like to compare and contrast different boats. My thought process is you should believe in a friend designing and building a boat before others. To see standard features and design go to www.zcbboats.com

Very nice looking boat! I talked with Zcb about their open model and was very interested. Our schedules did line out up, but a very nice looking boat. Can’t wait to see the progress of your boat.

My hull is currently in mold. As soon as it come out I will post pics. If you are interested currently, I would check out ZCB Boats on Instagram. I will say that I rode on the first boat which should be fully completed this week, ride is really impressive.

Thread starter’s boat will have a t top, as he fishes offshore more than inshore. I’ve gone to the shop and wandered around with him and the ZCB owner a few times. Impressive facility and operation. These will be really good looking boats. I believe all but one of the first several popping out will be open instead of bay models. The guy building the bay boat model already has a 33 contender for offshore, so I’m guessing his will be set up for primarily inshore fishing.

That open layout is a sweet looking set up...based on that Hell’s Bay you had for sale, this should be a great build.

Of the first 4 boats, all will be set up differently which will be nice for people to see what all can be done, these boats are completely custom to the extreme, for example, the floor of my boat will be slightly lower that the first three to provide 2 inches more of freeboard. And yes twin 300 Pro XS, if availability is issue, we will change to 300Rs.

Freemason 26 Hull #1 pulled up right next to me today at Horn Island today... - I had no idea about this boat and didn't know what it was - but was VERY impressive. Curiosity got the best of me - so I walked over and started asking the owner questions -- happened to be Mr. Zayed... Boat was AWESOME .... It was an Open Layout with T-TOP and Center Console attached coffin box... Looked to be a very solid boat... I will definitely be keeping up with ZCB.. He said he already had 11 orders for the 26...

Visited Z-Marine factory today - all I can say is WOW.... One helluva boat.... Too many things to mention - but - definitely top-tier stuff... Center Console is glassed to the deck - gas tank is glassed to the stringers .... These young guys are the real deal.... Here is some pics of Hull #1 - pictures do not do justice though - it feels like a 30' boat when you are walking on it... The center console access area is MASSIVE !! Easily fit a head or anything else.... Man - i think in the next couple months my wallet is going to get a little lighter... They now have 13 orders ....

Refrigerated coffin box - 350 qts.

Bilge Access

Forward Fish Box- Under Deck - huge

Center Console access - huge ...
