Actually, as redneck as it is, the guy did a decent job at the installation. We can laugh but I think the guy has some fairly decent mechanical skills.

Now the truth is I have no direct knowledge of Parker boats. If you asked me a few days ago I'd say I'd heard of them. Today I know more about how they tried to screw over a customer from their own reps words. They still think it's going to be okay but that's not the case. THEY not the customer tanked that stock if it goes down. I've already posted what they should do and so now I leave you to whatever it is you do with that limp little thing you think is a brain.

Guy makes a very good point .. If I was in his shoes - i would want a new replacement too... He has made a lot of additions - but that is on him... I don't think he is overstating or out of line with what is he demanding.... Parker- give the man a replacement boat...

Over the last 24 hours, Out on the Reef’s Parker boat dealer has had multiple conversations with him, and our owner Linwood Parker has been corresponding with Out on the Reef since he notified his dealer. Throughout multiple conversations, Parker Boats has offered Out on the Reef the following: Parker has offered twice to pay for and arrange to pick up his boat, bring it to North Carolina, fix it and transfer it back, paying in-full for transport and repairs.

For those unfamiliar with the boat manufacturing process, correcting the measurements on Out on the Reef’s 2120 is a one-day fix. It requires us to simply release the deck, lift to make the adjustments pointed out in Out on the Reef’s video, re-install, bond the boat, replace the bumper molding, shine and finish. Out on the Reef refused this offer and asked Parker Boats for financial compensation to fix the boat himself. This request was denied. Fixing the boat in our NC plant is the only way for Parker to ensure that the next boat owner purchases a flawless boat.
For those of you saying its the guy's dream boat etc...

Parker offered to cover all costs to pick up the dream boat from wherever it is, bring it back to the factory, fix the problem at the factory, and deliver the dream boat back to the dreamer.

And don't forget they also said they could fix that "problem" in one day.

Seems to me there is probably more than just one "dreamer" here.

And also quite a few "believers".

One day fix? To those who know about this process, is this possible?

yes pulling and re adjusting a cap and re bedding the deck on a small boat like that would be cake work with the facility’s they possess

Speaking of which, how come everyone is talking about the OP and Parker, but don't hear no one mentioning who the dealer is.

After all, they are the ones controlling all the money in this train wreck.

So if they rebedded the deck then isn’t everything above deck (like that door) that was installed “level” before now going to be crooked? Seems like a hell of a lot more than a one day fix to get everything squared up.
At best it’s basically a rebuild from the floor up to get everything right? Right?

not true...

the boat will require to be "de rigged" completely, then "cap" separated from the hull.there's going to be damage when the cap is pulled, that damage will require repairing before the cap is reinstalled...the bonding "mud" 160 putty, this takes 4/5hrs to kick, you shouldn't be walking on the boat, after it's "capped"

now tell me,how is all that being done in one day ?

It’s built that way on purpose to compensate for the twisting torque of that yamaha 200.

I would have to disagree that removing a bonded deck is “cake work”. If that deck is bonded to the stringers with some type of polyester putty then it’s not likely to be removed without considerable damage to the deck. If they use a cored deck, which is likely, then I think that your chances are even less. Now if they are talking about unscrewing the pilot house and cutting the bottom off on one side to make the measurements the same then that might not be that big of a job. It all depends on what material was used when the builder put the boat together.

If true, he may have a point. In one of his first videos of his new Parker he said that it was his “dream boat”, meaning it was just how he wanted it. The guy wants just that, a boat like he ordered initially:

https://youtu.be/L6KersL4hlU
I must be missing something at 4:09 he says Parker offered him his money back...take it, walk away, buy a different brand. Life's too short to be without a boat.

I don't think that's correct. In the second video above he says he wants a "radar" on the boat for compensation for the trouble....

Gotta love facts

I do think a small gesture for the mess up would be nice and is not out of question to ask for it but they are not under an obligation to provide, especially after he launched his social media tirade, and tore up the existing boat with some mods.
