To each their own. But if I ever were to get a boat over 40'. It would be an inboard, diesel as well. You can find older boats, that need some work, that have great hulls, and in the end you save a boat load of cash. While you won't get out there fast, there are pluses to a "sport fisher" type boat over outboards. For me, diesels at that size. While those big center consoles are good for some, impractical in many ways. However, plenty of room for a seakeeper at least .

Yes. I was told Seakeeper will become standard on the 56.

There is a thread on here about the Yellowfin 55. Here is the link, however it appears that they have removed the pictures that were there of the hull under construction.

Yeah after it was mentioned I remembered that I had seen that thread, there's one picture left about half way through the comments but I remember seeing it when it was posted. Thanks

I just re-read the whole thread and there are pictures of the mold just out of the plug being moved around the yard towards the end. They were dated in Jan/Feb of 2019 so they are newer. It looks absolutely massive.

Not a rumor. Just came across this thread and asked a friend who works for them. They will remain nameless, but it's confirmed.

That I don’t believe. They have 8-10 of them for sale on their lot at PBM.
And it’s easy to say backorder when you only build to order.

Why? If people are willing to spend THEIR money, then more power to them.

A 56' (or bigger) CC is like buying a 56' long Toyota Corolla.
