Default 1st Post- Thanks THT

I have been a member for many years going back to purchasing my first boat with my Dad in 2004. However, despite gathering a wealth of knowledge from everyone on this board, I have never posted before now. This is mainly because I haven't felt that I had much to contribute as most of my time has been spent on the lakes with wife, kids, and family with a few trips/year to the coast to chase kings and spanish. That said, I am going to try and start sharing now as a new boat is on the way (SeaHunt 27GF) and work schedule and older kids will now allow me to spend a good bit more time on the water in the years to come. Also, I want to start by thanking the vendors and posters who have supplied me with so much info from their own posts over the years. My hope is maybe I can provide some info others may one day use (even if it is what not to do ). In closing, thanks THT for all that you share. I'm sure there are many more like me who have learned a ton but have yet to post but please know that there is a wealth of knowledge on this sight that helps us all. Take care.

Holy lurker!!!

Nice note

Let this be an example that someone can get a lot out of THT without re-asking questions that have been asked before

Having spent a few years reading some of the "contributions" of our many "assets", I can assure you that this is not a prerequisite to posting.

Welcome!

I'll have to work on the wife pic- I am still explaining why new boat also means new rods/reels/etc but, hey, who knows with time and enough alcohol- maybe.

You dirty little stalker, finally coming clean. Hurry up and drink a few so you can post nonsense and get that pic of your wife up.
