Default Hawse Pipe rod holder

Im sure that once upon a time i saw a Hawse pipe/ rod holder combo. Similar to the Mate series cup holder concept but was a hawse pipe rod holder combo. anybody heard of such?

Are you talking about a striking rod holder like you find on the arms of some fighting chairs?
the top of them is elongated , and looks like a hawsepipe, the rod butt receiver below that pivots to allow the rod to be yanked, theoretically setting the hook.

No im familiar with those. This was litteraly loooked like a hawse pipe with an in deck rodholder at the top of it but all one peice. Maybe I dreamed it

How did the line feed into the hause pipe if there was a rod holder inside then? I'm confused

Picture that whaler drink holder thing but with a 15 degree rod holder instead of the drink ring.

I’ve seen guys that have Hawse pipes with cleats mounted directly underneath to Hull and rod holder mount with an offset facing the stern. Mainly used for trolling.

Hope this helps. Hard to explain.
