Should be Wet tested next week and delivery next weekend! Dave will be doing a complete performance report since they are the first Suzuki 300ís with a few interested in the same setup! Also propping it out!

Looks great! I’m driving over there tomorrow to see the new builds and spec mine out with Dave, last I heard my build should start in August. Very interested in the performance report with the 300 Suzuki’s. I’m going to talk to Dave about building a leaning post with tank storage in it similar to this one.

Hope I can slide by when it's being tested. Suzuki with 360... sounding better all the time. I just hate paying that optimus price.

I plan to share pictures of my tank setup once I take delivery. The plan is to have 2 x 3 tank SeaSucker roll control racks on each of the live wells, along with a 8 tank rack. The 8 tank has a small footprint that will sit behind the Tackle center with a Speargun rack. The nice thing is that it's removable when not needed.

The dive boats I've always liked the best the tanks were the seat backs with a bench seat. Space under the bench of gear bags. Hangers in the gunnels for spearguns.

On these hulls I think tanks on gunnels. Seats both sides clear path down the middle. Racks for guns near the back so you can take them as you step out to to the platform. Exit the sides of platform. Could deploy a whole team in fins in seconds.

That will be exactly my build - dive benches! I need the bench for gearing up but planning on back to back benches down the middle so we can backrolls divers off the side.

Do you have a splash date yet? Are you getting the Optimus 360? I think you said no. Will be interesting to see the performance vs G2's.

No splash date yet! We had a minor set back with the height of the Hardtop and it went back to the welder's. I'm not going with the Optimus, just couldn't justify the extra cost. Yes, I can't wait to see the difference between the Suzuki's and G2's. UCF's boat is very similar, so the results are almost a true comparison. Although, I don't think it will be that different.

I'm asking because a pair of 250-300 Suzis and a Rholdan is looking better all the time.

Do you have a sketch of your rod holder layout?

What size doors are in the bow? 20"x20"?

The bow hatches are 24" wide x 22" high, in hopes of squeezing the bean bags up front for storage when not in use. I emailed you the rod holder layout and attached it here. The only addition since then is, 3 rod holders on each side of the transom.

It may be okay to store them temporary when on the water but if you leave them there they will not like it.

I have 4. Hang from the rafters after each trip. Old sheet with a hole at center keeps the dust off. Neighbor says they look spooky. Good.
