DANG !

SSN, you use your tongue better'n a 20 dollar whore ! Holy Bejezzus that was G. U. D. GOOD !

And yes, back on campus I AM reverentially referred to as Mr. Sesquipedalian - Mr. S by the fully tenured lads. YOU may refer to me as Professor Fermi...

...Professor Enrico Fermi. I have instructed you with everything you know about the topic, but not everything I know.

You should have been eviscerated for your stated position on weapons, instead I disparaged you ad hominem, impugned your patriotism, and mis-characterized your courage; it was beneath me and I ask your forgiveness, you fucking Squid.

Lastly, I have drawn you into the ambuscade of assumption, where we both wallow in its quicksand, unhappily.

Cheers to the Submariners and all they do ! *ping* *ping* fart *ping* shhhh ! *ping*

Back on topic. I keep my glock 23 onboard. Treat it like any other tool... it gets an occasional wipe down with T9 boeshield and doesn’t seem any worse for wear.
I have no experience with Vermont, but been to Maine quite a few times. Other than the cold and funny accents, most of y'all would fit right any anyplace in the US. College roommate lives between Lewiston and Augusta. Good folks.

Interesting propaganda, what is missing from the 'facts' how many of the gun statistics occurred with illegally obtain guns, how many were criminal activity? One of the fact lines calls out Philadelphia, well open carry is legal in all of Penn except for .... yup you guessed it Philadelphia. Philadelphia has strict gun laws yeat "Almost half (532) of all firearm related injuries in Pennsylvania occurred in Philadelphia County" . Hmm a community with very strict gun laws accounting for 1/2 the related injuries, how is that possible. My guess is because the criminals don't adhere to the laws that are on the books, yet they know that in Philadelphia it is easy pickings because citizens, most likely, don't carry their own firearm as it isn't allowed.

guns are useful for all sorts of stuff on a boat. Not necessarily just personal defense.

I keep a .22 with me just for muskrats. They like to eat dock floats. Always approach my dock or my folks, or pair of aunts/uncles very slowly with it out if arriving close to dusk. No telling how many I’ve killed over the years.

Is it safe (see what I did there?) to say police departments in your part of the world don't posses guns?

The Texas coast between Corpus Christi and the Mexican border. Ruthless gangs have been known to smuggle drugs, cash, human beings, guns by air land and sea.

This started out to be a fun thread....and then they showed up.

I have no experience or competence in bleeding heart save the po people campaigns , free health care or education, heck I can't even limp around in deleted emails, Russian controversies or ones given right to practice Sharia law.....so I avoid lending my expertise in these subjects that I am ignorant of. OTH I (and others here) have handled weapons since earliest memory and are completely safe and competent to do so....maybe kinda like the guys with guns you have to call when something goes bump in the night, or the ones defending your borders. We truly get your position, as born of ignorance as it is but please, please stand down and limit yourself to polluting friendly waters. I in turn promise to stay off of any we love Billary threads.

I'm guessing that most of the people on this forum are not members of some police department.

Do LE agencies in your part of the world carry guns? If so, why?
Try to answer the question this time.

The 375 is just right for the big toothies. Hal Wahl claimed one dose of Big Nan was all any bear needed. By the way I happen to have that gun.
I carry my Desert Eagle in a Bandolier, that works well.
Yeah, the 375 Sako is a nice weapon, it was my understanding that they didn't make very many ( the Alaska guide model, about 18 inch barrel ). Mine fires its best groups with relatively slow 300 grain slugs, what are you shooting?

In the US there is no need to be a cop to possess a gun.
