Default What's the deal with this Gaudet?

Last summer, I came upon a 2007 Gaudet 31 for sale. Asking price was $58,000. It got sold in less than a week. Then, I saw it for sale again a month or so later. Makes sense to resell for a bit higher price and make a little bit of profit but what I don't get is why I just saw it for sale AGAIN. This time, the asking price is around $78,000. Still on the lower end for an aluminum 31 foot but I am not concerned about that. What I am concerned about is why it's been for sale 4 times in a single year. It looks pretty solid and doesn't seem to have been beat up too much. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about it on why it is being sold. Possibly any big issues with it and such.

This is the link:

Pretty sure the guy that has it listed currently is a broker. I tried to buy it when it came up the first time but it must’ve already sold.

Google the phone number. It’s a consignment dealer in LaPlce.

Great...By the time everbody gets their cut of he pie, the price is really inflated. My advice is to find another boat.

Not planning on buying it but to be quite honest, I have seen a 30 foot Gravois sell for $90,000 so the price they are asking for it isn't too bad. Owners could be selling it do to it's deadrise. That 31 has a hybrid type of deadrise. I cannot 100% remember what I was told about the deadrise but I remember it being lower than 20. Gaudet builds aluminum bay boats and for this build, they just made it a bit steeper. Maybe the boat doesn't handle offshore very well.
