I used interlux brightside paint on a center console project 10 years ago...and well after lots of use and abuse it's in pretty bad shape. Used two part epoxy primer w/ one part poly topcoat. The best boat paint (and most$$) is awlgrip I hear. It can be rolled and tipped if you use a reducer. Bluewater marine paint has some nice looking topcoats on there website. The main thing in any boat painting project is in the prep. Your gel coat surface needs to be spotlessly clean, sanded and prepped proper for adhesion. Jamestown distributers has lots of good info on their website. He's a link to my project years ago: My Mckee 1985 Southporter 17
