Well? Do you think the motor is rebuildable?

Pull the plugs and fill the cylinders with Marvel Mystery Oil, let soak 24 hours and it will fire right up.

Ok next question, what is/was it? I'm seeing a straight 8?

I owned a 49 Packard with a straight 8 about 20yrs ago as a centerpiece for my showroom (had a mid-highline used car lot for 5 years). That old motor was a neat mill, positive ground 6v system if I remember right. Talk about float down the highway and purr like a kitten...
