Here are some wall coverings I did for a church in downtown Orlando for their science center.
Send me a PM and I can hook you up.

As promised...

agree, the chart as a counter top on the boat is great. I think signmansez is going to be able to do what I'm looking for. I will keep this thread updated and share how it comes out

If you're just looking for something to hang in a frame, one of my friends does these, all custom made by hand.

I've had several PM's asking what else is possible in large format printing projects. Here are a few examples of walls and whatnot that I have recently done that were pretty cool.

I've got a couple of older charts that are a bit faded and probably not smooth enough for what you want but if you're looking to do it on the cheap and can get them to lay flat on a good backer, you can have them to mess around with. This is the best of the bunch and is 3'x5'.

A few years ago I had a NOAA chart of my local area lying around and I basically stuck it to a wall an then built a frame out of old pallet wood in my den.

thanks for the offer cobia! not exactly what I'm looking to do so I will pass.

signmansez can print these charts (or anything really) on sticky-back sign material (I think it's vinyl). I just have to make a decision about what wall I'm going to put it on and how big I want it to be and he's going to print it off for me. do I completely cover a wall? or just take up a large portion of it and put some trim around to make it look like a frame. that's what I have to figure out. renovating the house so it will probably be a while before I post a picture of the final product but I'm confident it is going to look very cool and unique. I'm thinking of making one of the bedrooms 'the chart room' with this on one wall and maybe one of those 3D charts on another wall, maybe some older versions of the chart framed on another wall, etc. we'll see...

The material is a woven polyester that has a canvas texture and feel. It is adhesive backed and very easy to apply as it is a thicker material than the vinyl's I use for decals and wraps, etc.

It is 54'' wide so one piece will cover a good amount of wall. If you need large than that the material hides seams extremely well. There are 4 pieces in the wall with the "Earth Rising'' image on it. Can't see them unless up close ( couple feet).
