My motor did that at idle but once I brought up the revs, it became a solid stream. All my mercs have had a pee stream that was too hot to keep your hand under. Never overheated. But even 160 degrees is too hot to keep your hand under

thats the thing, it doesnít overheat. Iíve noticed that past 2k RPM it gets better but I feel itís not 100%.

Do you have a temp temp gauge on yours by any chance??

Yeah, it would run at like 170. I focused more on my water pressure gauge. I would pull your plugs and make sure you don't have one that looks clean, could mean a head gasket leak. I would get steam out of mine after a hard run, but I turned my motor up to 7000+ rpm

did you install the temp and pressure gauges yourself? if so, do you have any tips on how to wire it? i have a tube with a fitting coming from the motor for the pressure but not sure about the temp

still haven't figured out the issue...

I'm going to try to put on new powerhead gaskets on my next day off.

could my issue be the water tube grommet by the powerhead?

If you don’t have a running issue, I don’t know that I would start pulling parts off. A broken bolt or two can be a huge nightmare.
