Default Bad start today down in Venice, LA

Looks like they missed the turn to Venice Marina and hit the breaks too hard. Brand new Invincible?

I was having a discussion just yesterday with a buddy that never uses transom straps on their 31 Cape Horn unless they are going to the Keys because he said "it's so heavy it aint moving"! I told him he's full of crap! I have to show him this!

That is not a good morning, at all. Yeah I think I would be a little nauseated that I am that stupid to not strap down a $700k boat.

You can see the ABS on the truck was working hard from the skid marks. When he gets home he can get a closer look at the other skid marks....

looks like the skids on the bunks are starboard which makes it even slicker.

Besides overal length considerations for stalls I don’t understand why these trailers aren’t goosenecks. The new 450s can haul 21k off the bumper but why?

I tie my boat down all the time but I wonder if that would have mattered? That's a lot of force to stop.

That never would have happened if they would have been using a Rav 4 to tow it.

Goosenecks are awesome for the long haul but suck really bad with a long DRW short turning radius truck at tight boat ramps..IMHO

Everyone likes to make comments about the straps- but I would like to know did some other unaware driver cut him off to where he had to slam on the brakes?
