Default Infant/toddler TTOP swing seat

I've seen the SeaRock set up... for $120ish. Seems stupid expensive compared to getting a generic swing seat and adding a buggy to the bottom to tie off to the leaning post. What am I missing here. Anyone done anything different? The little tyke seat is $20.
SeaRock

Generic cheapo at walmart

The top picture is the one I found on the googlemaster500 of the SeaRock seat. The bottom pic is of the cheap generic swing.

my first is due March 4th! Just prepping for summer right now.

We had a friend give us the nice one after they were done with it. It literally is the same exact thing as the cheap one except it had nice braided rope, polyethylene construction, cute cushions with embroidered marlin and SS clips. It is waaay heavier than the cheap one and does nothing the other can't but costs more. It's like a YETI baby swing.

Default Swing

How hard is this to figure out. Swings are basically the same. It $100 cheaper. Why wouldn’t it work? Cause it’s not white? I just get tired of such obvious answers.

Default Swing

Also concerns me that someone comes to a forum for assistance on such an obvious answer.

I was putting a swing swing under the ttop a decade ago. Should have spray painted that shit white and sold it at 5 times the price. Seriously concerned about people these days.

They ain't even close. First, the SearocK is made in the USA. Maybe you care, maybe not, but I care.

My kiddos SearocK has a rod gimbal for God's sake. A rod gimbal. How cool is that?

Plus, it has a bitchin billfish logo on the padding.

Did I mention the SearocK has a rod gimbal?

Life is too short to buy cheap shit for my kiddo.

We used a marine bean bag on our infant now toddler for low speed cruise. He sleeps the whole time, never bounced around, bean bag absorbs shock and it always fit his contour while wearing a life jacket.

As a general principle, I never allow children on the docks or on the boat without a life jacket. Too many accidents happen. A bean bag is on the floor, low center of gravity, and allows naps with the life jacket on.

Have used a regular baby swing with both of mine. Use is minimal (on my brothers boat), and only at rest. Works fine. Were I using it more frequently I may consider something nicer.

This is the one I have.

I got the cheap one from WalMart. They couldn't find a price tag on it, so they gave it to me for $7. He can't tell a difference between it and the $150 one.

How did the libtards miss that one? You cant even gift or use an old car seat. That's got to be one heck of a ride.

Do they have one for adults?
