Default 2018 Suzuki DF250 Value?

Looking at a boat with a 2018 Suzuki DF250 with around 50 hours, standard controls (Non-Electronic). Wondering what a new one goes for and also what you guys would value the engine at now that it has 50 hours? Thanks! - Jeff

There are two different Suzuki 250 engines. One has been in production longer than the other. We bought a brand new "small block" DF250 three years ago for $11,800 with controls and rigging but no prop. Dealer was a friend and it was a year old model he got direct from Suzuki at a great price. By the way 1800 hours. Replaced one trim/tilt switch.and just resealed lower unit. Motor runs just like it did when new. Great fuel economy. Knock wood.

When I was looking, the "small block" 250s were around 16kish with rigging . The big blocks were 19ish.

5'ish years left on warranty and confirmed it is transferable. All great info, didnt realize that there were two sizes. Looks to be the smaller size. Around $15k probably a good valuation or maybe a little lower?

I think $15K may be a tad high, but seems to be in the ball park. I put a pair of them on my ProKat in 2015 when I repowered. They are really good engines; I also have the electronic, bigger block 250 on a bay boat.

yes. But I added a second c-10 gauge because I replaced a Yamaha and my dash had 2 gauges. Didn’t want a 4” hole in the dash. Second gauge added $600. Of course that didn’t include sales tax. DF300APXW
