Default Who covers their Ulterra?

Getting ready to install my new trolling motor and just wondering who uses a cover. My boat lives on a lift when not in use so it will be outside all the time. Thanks.

Can't you remove it when not in use and store indoors?

What are your concerns?

It's too heavy and cumbersome to remove for a short time or when towing rig. Found a site for trolling motor covers: https://popptops.com

I try to cover everything I can on my boat. Some of us like to keep things looking new as long as we can. Ordering one now for my new PowerPole.

I don’t like any of my boat living outdoors 24/7/365. But that is just me. The exposed rubber belt wouldn’t fare too well living outside all the time. I would cover it.

Thanks for the responses, it would be a PITA to remove it and although I have not had any problems with my current trolling motor being out, I am aware of some of issues with the Ulterra. I think I will just get the cover.... Thanks all.
