Default Strangest thing you've found in your bilge?

If there's been a thread like this before I apologize - did a cursory search and didn't find anything but I suck at that, so . . .

Anyways, what's the weirdest or strangest thing you've ever found in your bilge?

My boat guy who does a lot of installation projects on my boat when I don't have the skill or time to do it, was using a magnet the other day on the back deck of the transom in preparation for some drilling, to ensure he was in the right place. He suddenly feels and hears a loud THUNK and strange reverberation. He ends up extracting two 60" spear shafts from my spear gun that I thought I had lost during dives. I had actually stored them in the cabin/berth area of my walkaround, along the "shelf" area above the cushions. They had slowly migrated towards the stern and there's nothing blocking them from falling into the bottom of the hull. Very odd.

So, as a result of this I'm going to NOT store the shafts there anymore AND find a way to block that route in the cabin.

zip ties, left over carpet, wires that had been cut...nothing terribly exciting

Fish hooks, some hardware (screws & nuts and bolts). Some spare change, a couple of valve keepers. Not a very exciting collection for 60 years.

Golf ball. There is a golf course you could get to by boat around here so maybe fell out of a bag?

Not in mine but a guy that stored his boat in the same storage facility as mine approached me one spring with 3 freeze plugs in his hand that he found in the bilge and asked me what they were. Not good!

I found a free dipsy diver and a handful of acorns fixing a few rivets on my old starcraft.

My glasses. A month or so after I lost them. Found their way under the bilge pump float switch. Cleaned them up and kept them for a spare.

I know I have a socket and a 6" extension in my bilge I would like to get back. Other than that, nothing more than some gunk, cut zip ties, and some small wire strippings.

Not mine but an older plank on frame hull that was kept afloat by bilge pumps. Was tasked with cleaning out the bilges one time and caught a half dozen very oily and lively blue crabs.
