I'd love to hear from the owner of the boat. I can tell you from multiple experiences that Jupiter stands behind thier product. I've done warranty repairs for them that other brands would never even discuss. I was at the factory during the infusion of the first and third 43 and they are overbuilt tanks. I can see from the photos it looks like the hull/deck joint is broken. The owner certainly has contacted the factory and will get it repaired as a top priority. I'd be shocked if the owner and engineer from Jupiter have not already been to inspect the boat themselves and make arrangements to take care of the issue, well unless the lower units are also torn up.

Very surprised on a number of fronts.
  1. Jupiter has a great reputation and this is one of the last boats I would have thought to see this on
  2. That the company did not immediately take in the boat and deal with it
  3. That the owner has jumped that fast to social media. Your going to get allot more backup from the company if they just make good and fix it 100% vs a shit show on the net, if they guy has been battling with them for a while than I can see it.
At least 3 pages by end of day

Seems like they're not overbuilt if there is that much cracking. And it sounds like he has tried to reach out but they won't even return his calls

Here already and the popcorns in the bag !
So whats the new and latest news ??
Did I see right 4 thumpers on the back !! bet no one did there home work as to weight, horse power, and major bending and twisting forces from taller legs on some old tried a tested glass and wood transoms that have been used for the last 20 years ! The bracket manufactures will be smiling and rubbing there hands together thinking HERES ANOTHER ONE FOR US !!
Like I keep pounding away is motor makers are in a completely different street to boat designers and manufacturers always have been always will be !! designers and builders and incompetent composite engineers or who ever advises new layups and schedule's for manufacturing they all need lining up and sent to a place far far away , one way !
Just like has been predicted !!and this is another bed time story to tell the grand kids in your old age !
Have ordered the timber and long nails and polished the hammer ready for the 2019 crucifixion !

To help fill in some blanks going to cut and paste his story from instagram on here. A lot of information being overlooked on this thread that is available, such as he has been trying to work with Jupiter for a decent amount of time.

Everything below direct from the boat owner's instagram posts.

The new 43 Jupiter marine with under 50 hours transom cracking inside and out both sides. Marine survey says not gelcoat crack bad workmanship or poor design Jupiter marine a joke w standing behind there product won’t take boat back or rebuild it tons of issues since new w boat . We have text messages w staff members saying the boat was rushed out due to cash flow issue . Matt levy of modern yachts ny sold the boat . Swore they are the best dobtvuse them ever he had to get his dad involved as he could not handle dealing with the factory

has told us it’s only cosmetic to run it as we stole it no worries at all .. We were also told by there engineer via text message the boat was rushed due to cash flow .... this boat has a long list of major issues and we begged @jupitermarinewhen it was delivered to take back the boat to the factory and fix it for months now it has been getting fixed in drips and drabs now the transom cracked just don’t want this unsafe boat that is cracking at the seems and the transom at all

@jupitermarine we have given you ample time to address the concerns you delivered a vessel that was a disaster. The vessel had a major cracked transom after 5 times using it. The vessel was delivered with a leaking sea chest that’s right the vessel had a slow leak and was taking on water . The vessel had a fresh water leak and would leak out the entire fresh water tank over night. The bow thruster blew fuses the cabin seal leaked water like a river the tuna door leaked water when u ran into the boat the fish box pump did not work the chillers were installed wrong and still don’t work 2 months later

@jupitermarine the mirror downstairs was delivered broken the cabin wood had scratches in it the inside cabin had scratches in it , the table had the wrong mount so it was never tested, the whole boat had spray foam from when it was built all over the gel coat. The auto pilot did not work the console hatches did not have stops so they smashed into the console, the love seat in the front was not attached the cushions had tears from the wood underneath pushing tru the inside cushions on the walls were not attached and the wrong size the windshield was not installed correct the lower windows still had shims in them

@jupitermarine the vessel according to your employee via text was rushed out due to cash flow issue and there was no quality control . We have all the conversations with him for court that was asked was to take the vessel back and remake a new one since as your guy put it the quality control was over looked on this boat and lots of things were overlooked now with the structural issues repair to this vessel is not a option as I will never feel safe on a vessel with so many issue after just 5 times of use. We asked when the vessel was delivered to please take it back to the factory and make it perfect you refused to outright refused actually you would not even take my calls u were to busy at the boat show just down the road from my at the boat show to even come see the issues or pick up your phone and call I guess selling boats was more important then the guy who just paid u $750k and has a defective boat. This is not going away. You product was delivered defective and there seems to be other issues with this build then just a warranty will cover there is at this point product liability issue as this is structural so there was a workmanship issue or a design issue . Doing cosmetic gelcoat won’t fix this or make this go away . just wanted a new boat with our issues not a sorta fixed broken boat ...

More cracking on the Jupiter 43 . The transom cracked after just 5 trips this boat is two months old these are just smaller cracks compared to the outer transom where you can see day light tru please see the pic on our feed . This boat was built by #jupitermarine and sold by #modernyachts in ny . This $750k build was a disaster with the issue that the factory has sent the boat out with and the issue on a boat with under 50 hours . Come look at the cracked transom on this new 43 Jupiter marine that was custom built by Jupiter marine the boat is located at pga marine in west palm and b4 you buy a Jupiter marine boat please dm me and come see what they built for me and this $750k built boat that the transom is cracked we will be glad to show anyone the work list of issue that was sent to Jupiter.

Started posting 3 days ago .... I saw this boat in West End,owners were happy last month.

Something does not add up here. We start out with bitching about a cover over the joystick panel hitting the Garmin, easy 30 dollar fix, to a busted mirror to huge transom cracks. And no one answers the phone at Jupiter? There is more to this than an Instagram rant.

I do not blame the guy for being upset but let anyone try to reach anyone in any management capacity at any boat company during a major boat show, it's not going to happen. It also sounds like some drunk posts or something, how can you be trying for months to reach someone on a 2 month old boat? All I know is regardless of brand, new boats have issues, all of them. The owner should have refused the boat if it was as he stated. Something is fishy with this one. Hopefully the owner comes around with some first hand info.

The fine folks at Tidewater, Epic and Crevalle would like to take a moment to thank their friends over at Jupiter!

What was he looking for other than hearsay?
Your contribution kicking my azz contributed a bunch though.
Itís not hearsay if coming directly from the boat owner and I think itís pretty wise to research a purchase as large as a high tier CC.

WOW! I understand in boat building, things happen, but if I spent $750K on a boat (probably wont ever happen) I would deliver it back to the dealer and tell them to deal with it or LAWYER UP!

Too soon to recommend a Freeman???
