Probably need a tad more info, are the plugs the correct type, new and indexed? did this just start happening? is the fuel OK?

A compression check may be your best first troubleshooting procedure. When was the last time the muffler filter was replaced? As mentioned before, plugs are the most common culprits in poor idle situations. Engine temperature being too low is often the 2nd most common. Check the head temp and thermostat. Are you running on old fuel or fresh?
