Default 2006 Yamaha Tilt Trim Manual Release??

Went to the coast this weekend to try and catch a few grouper and one of my 2006 200 HP HPDI motors is stuck in the down position! Tried to use the manual release screw to access the trim and tilt with a big flat head screwdriver and wrench. My lefty loosey would not budge one bit!! Was not really prepared for the whole fiasco and going back down this Friday to remove both trim and tilts to have them rebuilt. So any thoughts on how to get this 12 yr old screw to break loose?? Was thinking about using some PB blaster and left sit for an hour or so and then use an impact driver. If that does not work I was going to try heating the screw up for 3-5 min and see if that will allow me to break it free!

I can't help you with the screw, but Five Star Marine Performance rebuilt mine for about $400 and had it turned around in about a week. Great communication and highly recommended.
