I thought it was cool that they saved the unveiling for the boat show. I went to the boat show just to see that boat on the 4th. I love the new layout.

K i saw weight @ 2700 lbs - Hull only assumed.

Seems on the light side for a boat of this size.

I like the deck and the over all design. Looks like a nice rig for the price.

What is the general consensus here on black jack quality?

Agree. I have seen some wiring on Blackjacks that certainly is solid mid mid-tier and a little sloppy, that was 4-5 years ago. Perhaps that has changed.

Default wiring

Wiring pic from FB Owners page. Aug 2018. To my eye, this is as neat & clean as my previous 3 YFs and 2 Moradas. I think the rigging was done by Metro Boating in NoLa, a long time BJ dealer.

That wiring looks good and I'm not saying go full Rwidman but I'd really want some rubber caps over each battery terminal.

I was at the Houston Boat Show yesterday and saw the boat. The actual price sheet for it is the one behind that one. With the open layout and the 350 it was around 105k. Very nice boat and the fit and finish looked top notch.

Did that price include the Garmin electronics?

Iíve been looking at the boat in pictures for months now waiting to see it in person. Iím ordering mine with a mercury v8 and can not wait.

I am so glad the Kennerís decided to go with a 3 piece build as Iíve become spoiled after owning my current 3 piece boat. Not sure I can go back to a 2 piece boat.
I remember, I think on that thread everyone mentioned brands and you would respond with a no. But when I mentioned Blackjack had teased something, you didn't respond.

It's just me, but every time I see this thread I think of what a "Black Jack" was for decades on the Jersey shore.

Great looking boat! I'm going to put it on my list to check out at the Miami Boat Show. I'm loving the hybrid style of boats.

Don't think it will be there sadly. At least on their site, MIBS isn't listed.

lol. I locked up and should have responded so it wasnít so obvious. Like I said I donít like secrets. That aside now that the boat hasnít been released. The boat turned out so nice and I can not wait to get mine.

I am going to atart a build thread once we have all the options locked down.

I looked at a Blackjack at the Raleigh Boat show this past weekend. Popped open the bilge hatch. Every hose had double clamps. Every double clamp was tightened with the screw head on the same side. I do like the design and just chalked that up to an oversight in quality control.

Blackjack boats are top tier bay boats but with the mid tier price tag. In my opinion Bill, Gary and the crew at K2 marine hit a homerun with this layout
