Default Tabman

Hi all,
i happened to see a few posts and speculations about Tabman-

I am very sorry to report that the news is true. He passed away very unexpectedly on Monday.

It’s really wonderful to see here how well liked he was. As long as I can remember, my Dad has loved helping people and boating. Five years ago, my father was suddenly very sick and in the hospital, and I thought then he might pass. At that time member of the hull truth were so supportive and I apriciated so much.

I didn’t want anyone to wonder anymore. Please PM me if you have any questions. I hope this post is allowed here.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure just about everyone on THT would agree he was very well liked here and the most helpful and obliging person - a true gent who was clearly very passionate about his job and looking after everyone he could. And I'm sure everyone will also ask that you pass on condolences to your whole family.

So sorry for your loss. I never "knew him" other than the internet, but I certainly feel like I knew him. He helped me out a few times over the years, and countless others. He'll be missed greatly.

Very sorry for your loss. Your father was one of the most helpful people on this board. He was always willing to take the time and have the patience to help people with their issues.

We lost our father eatlier this year, so I understand what you and your family are going through.
I am sorry for your loss.
One thing that really stands out here and many other forums was that Tabman always addressed problems and issues and was a wealth of knowledge and always seemed to fix issues customers were having. It is the people that make a business and I am sure many purchased Bennett tabs only because of your father. He provided product knowledge and customer service you just don't see anymore. He will be missed but definitely not forgotten.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember one time I posted a question about my trim tabs. Your father chimed in and said that they were leaking. I never asked any other questions and without warning I received a seal kit in the mail with no charge. It's hard to find folks with the understanding of customer service like your father had. Your father didn't have to send that seal kit but that is how he was - always willing to help folks.

Again, so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Your father's input was valued and very well respected here. I always enjoyed chatting with him on the forums and enjoyed reading his knowledge which he freely shared.

God bless him and your family.

Heartfelt condolences. He was certainly selfless with his contributions here, even when it was a competitors product. That shows a true passion for your work, and reveals the true character of an individual.
