Your Father helped many folks here and was very well thought of.
Hopefully, that gives you some comfort in your time of loss.
Godspeed, Tabman.

Your dad was a huge asset to THT and to Bennett - always helpful and polite, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile. I suspect he was like that as a dad too... you are blessed to have had those extra five years with him.

It is obvious that your father was a kind and good man. He treated everyone as if they were the most important person he was dealing with at the time. That is so rare these days.He will be remembered very fondly here and many other places. God Bless you and your family.

Deepest condolences to you and your family. I never met Tom, except on the Hulltruth, however, he was so helpful to me and others on this forum. It is obvious that he was a wonderful human being and a true Hall-of-famer on the HullTruth. Tom was such an asset to this forum, but I am sure he was a greater asset to his corner of the world and to his family! We will all miss him.

So sorry for your loss. This is a massive loss for the boating community. I can assure you that your father was the most helpful person I've found within any boating forum. My decision to purchase Bennett trim tabs were heavily influenced by your father's customer service. While i was installing them, I had what I'd like to call live, one on one support. If i had a question I'd take a break, send him the question and within minutes he would send an answer.

Very sorry for your loss. While I never met him off line, your father was a great man on line. He was always trying to help others whether with his products or even the competitors. He will be greatly missed in the boating community.

Tom helped me on facebook and THT - after business hours. I've read many of his posts to other boaters and he was always helpful and informative. Bennett lost a true ambassador of the company. To Bennett and his family, please accept my deepest condolences on his loss.

Tom helped us many times with Bennett questions. He will be missed as he was a great asset for a product that is found on thousands and thousands of vessels. Our thoughts are with your family through this tough time. Knowing how much he helped people and how much people appreciated him will keep the wind in your sails.

Makes bickering about the amount of torque and or strokes your outboard has seem pretty silly now doesn't it?

sorry for your loss.

my thoughts exactly! Most of us here on THT can be a lil snarky and opinionated. You see it all the time on here “tough crowd” ..... TABMAN from what I seen was none of those things. Respected knowledgeable and factual based only. Takes a big man to address problems of the product he backs publicly he consistently did this. Mucho respect.

Rest well
