What's the quality difference (if there is one) between a Relion and something like a Dakota? The price difference is significant and I was wondering if it was for a reason?

I am tempted to upgrade for the space savings in the center console of my bay boat. But I think the technology is a few years away. Going to ride with the current AGMs as long as they'll last before I make the jump. I'd like to see name brand battery manufactures get into the game with name brand warranties and name brand, local locations. I am kind of leery about jumping into new technology (at STEEP prices) and not having someone local to swap out a battery if it quits on me.

Name brand battery companies are perfectly content with sticking with lead acid battery production as it is.
