"lost my 21 ft heritage sportsmen to hurricane Michael"

Please explain. Been through several hurricanes. Had one swamped and another smashed to bits and looted but never lost one.

This is one you MUST check out. Its a 23’ but can be made as a 21. Superior construction methods compared to most others mentioned above.

Another vote for Sea Ox. I have the 21. It’s a big 21 and the fit and finish it’s more like regulator and the build schedule is closer to Onslow bay. The price tag being 50k won’t stay that way too long on a boat built to the level the current sea ox is.

Everyone suggests what they have/had owned, and I will do the same. Check out the Kencraft/SeaKing 206 Challenger- do some searches on here. Don't think you will read a single bad thing about them, and they really are a very versatile boat. If I downsize one day, there will be zero question that I get another one of these. Best tell tale for a boat is all the past owners who regret having sold theirs.

I think with your price range, you could get one with a real nice electronics package included.

Otherwise, I have always thought the Keywest, Cobia, and Pioneer boats were pretty decent. I think the SeaHunts fall into that too, unless you ever need access to the bilge- reason enough for me to never buy one of those. I've never been on a newer SeaFox to say anything, and the new SeaOx's do look nice!
