Your right solarfry. Typically that’s in the middle or close to the wings. I don’t have that big of a death wish!

Not sure if you like the look, but cutting a little more sheer would do that boat some justice. Make it look like a little NC sportfish.

Just my .02

CARRY ON!!

I like more of a merrit or gamefisherman look honesty. Don’t dislike the Carolina style but wouldn’t do any work to get that look. I like the 33 bertram lines. Just wasn’t sure the 17 degree deadrise would be ideal and the 12’6 beam makes it a bigger barge then the 28.

Regarding shear line: Do spend some time on this. It is the line that catches the eye the most. Sight it from all different angles and play with it pulling strings or using skinny blue tape.

You don't want kinks in the shear!!

Bloody fantastic! I watched you last one keenly, and I’m here for this one too. Youre not afraid to have a solid crack at it, that’s awesome.

Your threads have me looking sideways at my buddy’s currently-engineless B28 flybridge that shares my pontoon

Really like the vision here. Good boat to stretch, going to be a beamy sea monster when done. Sporty sized cockpit on a clean simple layout, can't beat that.

Crazy is one way to put it! This is the link to the 28. Bertram 28 walk around outboard. There are videos of it runnng in there. These hulls are efficient. With f250s, gap tower, full fuel and two people it cruises 38 at 4300 and getting 1.6-1.7. Wide open is 50. She is still a rolling machine though. Not worse than before but the same. I am really focusing on weight low and weight out at the sides on this one. The centerline will have fuel or water most of the way fore and aft. I would like to get some old shaft stock and glass that down the centerline.

Not it sure which one goes up for sale. Depends how the 33 runs really. If it is not as good or better it will go. Also not sure what I can get for the 28. Designing the 33 to take the tower if I don’t get what I want out of the 28 I will take it apart. It was expensive! And it is awesome.

Started laying up the bracket. It is a paint to do. Got four skins on the clamping board and bottom. Sides only one so far. Epoxy and 1708.

Nice. I’ve been toying with the idea of following your lead and building the bracket for the 23’.

Sweet. No super complicated. I built the one for my brother’s mako off the boat then glassed it on. Both of mine have been built on the boat. Pain!
