Default cup holders

...is there anywhere on the planet one can get hold of recessed cup holders deeper than the standard 2-3 inches?

I only use half ltr cans and tall glasses, and the ones that are installed in the boat are pretty useless for that.

I
If you don't find anything, you could cut the bottom out and then attach a wide fabric strap at any depth you like. Did this with my beach chairs and works great...and no bottom to collect dirt or water.

They are out there somewhere because Sea Vee has deep ones that they use in addition to the normal ones. Call them and ask their source

manufactured by Tigress Marine. Yes they have a drain fitting and can be plumbed.

I wonder if you could make them from a 3" (or so) PVC pipe with a cap on the end, and drill a hole in the bottom. I don't know exactly how you'll be using the cupholder so I don't know if this would work. Just a thought.

I just realized that you said 'recessed' as in sinks into the deck. My idea probably would not work for that. Disregard.
