I don't know who "he" is but would love to have him work on my boat for a few days. Are you anywhere near SWFL?

Central Florida. He is based on my lot but his crew is mobile. He doesn't really like to do boats as they do luxury buses. We slow down a little in the summer so he will do about anything til the snow birds show up! I will PM you his info it never hurts to ask. English is good but if you have someone that speaks Spanish there will be no mis-communication....

OP.. I apologize for the derail

No worries at all! I always wondered if you had something to do with Vantare busses or if it's a coincidence. I had a Country Coach for years and really enjoyed it.

I was ready to buy an H45 Liberty in 2014 but wife said to wait a bit and make sure it's what we really wanted. She wasn't crazy about the colors. Shortly after I had a major health event that took me down for 2 years. Only thing is prices have skyrocketed since then. Maybe some day...

Jimmel is here in Lauderdale. His contact phone number is +1 (954) 999-6727.

Maybe don't start calling him until he finishes my boat please! His phone rings constantly.

Now two full days and he has finished all the rough sanding inside and is finishing up with 1200. His helper has started rough compounding inside. The areas done so far are amazing bright and deep looking. I have not wanted to interrupt them so few pics today. They had to wash the boat tonight to get all the dust off before they start the final stages. They still have the hull and bottom to do so it looks like it will be a 3.5 day or more job!

Here is the port interior rod holder area in the cockpit after multi step dry and wet sanding and course compounding. I had no idea this area could shine so highly. I'm really excited for tomorrow! I decided to get all the coming pads re-covered. Boat is looking so good I couldn't put the old stuff back on that beautiful finish!

So day 3 has concluded and sanding is done and compounding has started. It's truly amazing to see such a difference. These guys are hard workers and don't take breaks. You can tell Jimmel really loves what he does. My boat is looking like a brand new one. Makes me really happy to see.

That's looking amazing!

Be curious to see and learn how he details the engines, especially the lower unit.

Thanks, I'm thinking to tell him not to detail the engines. I might have them re-painted. They dont look bad but the area around the cylinders has some corrosion and there are a few deep scratches on the cowling. Ill talk to Jimmel today.

Is he doing any areas that have non-skid? If so, how?
