Default Whitewater 28 w/ Rhodan 84"

I know people were interested to see how this looks as well as how well it performs. Took it on the river today, about a 1/2 foot of chop and 12 knot winds and it holds no problem. Also pulls the boat around pretty good but that's not why I got it. Full offshore test to come when the seas stop churning from the hurricane.

Enjoy.

Interested to see how this works out for you. I’ll be putting a trolling motor on my next offshore boat. How did you go about mounting the motor, I see you put a metal plate under the puck. Where did you put the batteries and what was your bow to waterline measurement?

Looks great on the boat. I use my ulterra offshore (smaller boat) every trip and it makes it so much easier to hold position and never have to get the anchor out.

Throw a power pole on the boat and you now have a 28’ hybrid. With the price of hybrid bay boats these days you will make money on the deal. lol

That monster trolling motor makes your offshore boat look like a bay boat!

Actually looks like a nice install. Doesn't look hokey and out of place, I thought it would. Sure will make bottom fishing a blast.

I've been using a Rhodan on my whitewater for the last year-and-a-half. Holds the boat in place just fine in up to 2 to 3 feet chop.

I hate the thought of making my WW 28 look like a giant bass boat or bay boat but man that trolling motor would make such a practical addition and make fishing some spots or wrecks so easy even single handed.

It would be so nice to hit spot lock and have it hover over a wreck or along a bridge while you catch fish after fish and not have to worry about someone swinging into your spot while you land your fish.

How much is the cost for the trolling motor, and batteries?
