Default What is the shortest boat with the widest beam?

I have a fishing buddy that asked me this question and I told him I think it's Grady that made a 23' with 10' beam. Am I right? What other boats are out there that are relatively short in length but have a wide beam?

I believe you are referring to the 232 Gulfstream which has 9'3" beam which makes that boat feel as roomy as some 28's.

Downeaster 18 / Lookout 18 has an 8'3" beam. It's the widest little boat I've ever seen.

I think you mean length: beam ratio?
The 23 Grady and
Northcoast 24= 9’ 2” beam are good candidates.

I now own a North coast 24 foot with a 9 foot 2 inch beam.
Before the North coast I owned a custom built twin diesel 25 foot 11 foot beam . The boat was built by Bradford International in Ft. Laudedale.

The 24 t-craft is 9’6” and the 21 has a 9’ beam. The 24 is still being produced by the 21 is not. Pretty much a flat bottom bay boat
