As long as you keep Rudy off your leg in the shower its generally ok. GFS even wrote a campfire song (luckily Garret wasn't around...).

Nothing more than congenial discourse here, abuse is a bit deeper in the forum.
You would be much happier in the bilge sub forum.

Kumbaya.

As if the poor spelling, grammar, and excessive use of !!!! wasn't a giveaway, you've gone and posted from wrong account.

Isn't having multiple accounts against the rules? Seems to me someone got perma-banned for that before.

I'm not a boat builder or an English professor who taught computer literacy on the side.
those kinds of bubbles are not uncommon and not hard to make !
lack of resin and bedding can be a major cause and is best to suck the core down properly with Vacuum !obviously the worker was not familiar with what he was doing and because the leading hand was not doing HIS job and checking at any stage , so what you see is what you got .
So fact of the matter is WHO DO YOU BLAME ??
1 THE WORKER DOING THE JOB ??
2 the leading hand not supervising and checking ??
3 Lets take another step up the ladder and blame the foreman as well for POOR STAFF TRAINING
Everyone working on all jobs has to check there own work and the work of the guys hes working with and work as a team not as individuals !And if you want to take that a stage further EVERYONE is responsible fore EVERYONE else's work as well as there own !

The dealer is responsible for a number of issues here and if they would just step up at the same time and took ownership and responsibility for those they could save their reputation as well.

What a Cluster F**k.

If they could find a truly magnificent way of making mmlambert happy they could end this thread with a bunch of congratulations. Wouldn't any prospective buyer doing a search see that? They'd see a problem (which all manufacturers have) resolved with integrity. Wouldn't they?
I'm the guy with the transom failure. Crevalle will never ever replace a customers boat. The best they will do in this case is to replace the cap and they will make you work for it. They replaced my hull with the new infused hull they just started producing. According to Nick, he planned on starting production of the infused caps soon (that was a few months ago.

So let me get this straight.....

Crevalle can't even get a hand laminate right and now they are going to start infusing?

What could possibly go wrong?

Another Crevalle thread with Tunnels transom falling off, saying China's Infusion process is way better and Tunnels being the OP

Man, you'd think their reputation would be more important than ONE damn boat. Clearly, they went to infusion because too many of these issues came up. Done right, there's no question infusion is superior but everything must be just right, and every time. Plus it is so different than hand lay (the mold is the same) they would have to completely retrain their staff. Even the most minor leak will scrap and entire hull.

As for the original poster's boat, the only way to remove the cap will be to risk damage to the hull. Just imagine the grinding that will have to take place. I guess paying people to tear down a boat to it's hull is less expensive than paying them to build another hull. The cost savings would be minimal.

Did you finish the story in your post/thread? I have not looked up your thread yet but now I will. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

These boats are complete garbage. Should have bought a Barker Boatworks. These bullshit pretty boy hulls are no better than an entry level brand and should be equipped with old Force 90 -Given the transom can’t hold a tiller motor without breaking.

Anyone buy a Crevalle at the Tampa Bay Boat Show this weekend ?

Sign says “focused on reliability and durability.” Perhaps that does not include Transoms and Caps????

Nice 10 year loan for a boat that will spend the first year back at the manufacturer.
