If I'm not mistaken your transom has a dap out in the back you're gonna need a special bracket you can't just put a straight bracket on the back.

I have one on mine. The bump out is over 5' wide, so plenty of swim platform, with about 3/8" of curvature over that width. No problem mounting a straight bracket.

? Do you have to replace the transom. If so remove the outdrive support ( bump out ) then you can have a full open platform flat with no cut-out. I'm doing it now to my 233 project, it serves no purpose in todays world. Thats coming from some of the guys who started these hulls.

It looks like the boat originally had Fwd seating seating. Are you going to recreate the liner forward? Or add core to bring the hullsides out to level? Or something else?

It did not have seats it was just the ugly pocket and the front deck had about an inch step .

Going to fair them out so it all looks the same

Looking very good Donzster!! It almost makes me wish I had bought an older boat and rebuilt to my specs. These rebuilt boats always seem better built than the factory assembly line for not crazy money if you find the right old hull. Excited to see the finished product.
