Default Taco metals customer service

I had a taco gs-880 that had broken due to my FIL cranking it past the stop point.
I called taco and explained what had happened and asked for replacement parts. They explained they no longer make the 880 and do not have parts for them. They asked me to provide a copy of the build sheet that shows the 880 was dealer installed. The 880 was about 16 months old. I was also asked to provide a picture of the damaged unit.
They told me their warranty department would contact me the next day due to it being so late in the day.
The warranty department contacted me the next day to tell me a new gs-890 which is the new all metal version was already enroute to me via UPS.
I just wanted to take the time and give a shout out for taco's excellent customer service.

I have also had outstanding customer service from Taco.......on two separate occasions........Judy is awesome
