Can't wait to see that! Glad you landed on Brian at LineX, he results look very sharp and gives a nice durable finish. The black is really going to pull together the entire color scheme you have from the seats and rub rail.

Thanks. I know we discussed that I may possibly go with a different line x shop to save a few bucks. But I decided I didnt want to be someone's on the job training.

So far Brian was understanding when we had to change the pickup day twice.

I'll report back with my overall experience.

I know from discussions with Dave that prep and exact application is required. There were going to do in house but one set of bubbles on something that looked perfect after sprayed was enough.

At least it's a repairable product unlike puke puke powdercoating I'm stuck with. Trying to come up with something better for my windows.

I'll never understand what makes people want anything over polished and anodized aluminum. That stuff is sexier than a hot girl freshly oiling teak.

I like the polished aluminum also. But the black linex should tie everything together on my boat.

I don't know anything about Linex. I know I DO NOT want powder coat and there is no way to escape it on my windows and doors. I have a 1972 boat out in the barn that has black anodized windows. It's still perfect after all these years. I've seen blisters on powdercoat at the boat show. Maybe my dislike of powdercoat is preventing me being fair to any coating.

Stopped by the shop today. All hands on deck working on the boats. Shop is purring like a finely tuned engine.

My piping is due back to Dave's either Thursday or Friday. Cant wait to see it.

Wont be long after that.

The blue one is Salty Sway.

Mine is gray. I know it's been awhile. People are forgetting what she looks like. Lol.

When is the Evinrude Tech going to be there doing your I-dock setup?

Hope not this week. I might be working in St. Thomas. Yea, "are you available" they asked.

I would think some time late next week. The tech wants the top on before he calibrates them.

Pics from Line X. So far Brian from Sarasota Line X has been great to work with. Update photos he sent me. I think the red is a primer/corrosion blocker or something.

Look at all of the Rhodans stacked in the background. No wonder they are on backorder. Sarasota has all of them.

Nice catch. Wonder if they are being coated for the factory.

You been outside? Of course he wants a top.

If I'm around I'll down with my patio umbrella and some lemonade and a big ole' shade tree hat. Can't have him sweating.
