The EC team, Allie and I were very excited as we got ready to pull out the shop to fuel her up for the first time!

A quick stop at Wawa for some non-ethanol fuel and man the excitement for everyone was building.

We got to the ramp, primed the fuel system and got ready to splash her for the first time! This was the moment we had all been waiting for.

She floats!

The main rigging guys and Merc guy took her out first while I watched and listened to the super charger spool up on the first time the boat took off... pretty emotional for my wife and I as we canít wait to get back on the water

Thumbs up

The boat looks fabulous. Congrats!

Can you describe the little legs under the outside edges of the console? It's the first time I noticed those. For extra support, I assume?

Yes, we decided to bring the tower supports through the toe kick.

Sounds good, your forgiven!

Boat looks great. Plenty of time on my hands as this weather has put a damper on the charter fishing. Peak gust yesterday morning at Howard Park was 50 mph.

Little Lake Conway- beautiful lake. I did a boat test on that lake years ago.

We put in 58 gallons of non-E in the tank as we wanted to start with the lightest load Iíd ever have and go from there as a starting point. I will say Friday was actually the worst day to prop but Iím happy with the outcome and it will only get better from here! Average WOT was 56 in some of the slickest and stickiest water Iíve seen.LOL

We ended up with the three blade as it had more bite being larger blade than the 4 blade he had on hand and hole shot and mid range was insane. At 50 mph it handles like a race car and thatís a nice upper cruise on the RPMís for me. The Mercury tech said add salt to the water with a slight chop and 3-4 mph will also be added to top end.

He is coming back next week to drop off the same 4 blade props we ran that gave us top end but they want to go up in pitch and see which will be the better prop. Mid 50s on a large bay boat with a tower is impressive but we feel we can get more out of her. Canít wait to see what the numbers look like next week!

what kind of speed where they getting out of hulls 1 and 2 without towers?

I would think a 17-19p eco will be the prop of choice. Prolly settle on a 18p as the 19 is actually a 21p.

Yeah I spoke with Adam at the shop today. They are having a few more props delivered and will be back on the water tomorrow or Wednesday.

Boat looks absolutly beautiful, I love the profile shot on the water. Is all your rod storage in the front deck? I assumed you would be adding rod holders to the top.
