Default Suzuki 250 Prop Aftermarket - Need urgent advice!

Yesterday while running in from a charter, we had a prop break. Didn't hit anything so I don't know what happened. Now, I am searching for a new one but it appears that Suzuki no longer has the prop available.

Are there aftermarket products that anyone could recommend? It looks like there are some that could fit but have a hub kit?? And they are 15 ¼ diameter instead of 15. Can anyone give me insight?

Hoping this thing does not cost me $700 or more. If there are cheaper, QUALITY aftermarket props that would be much better.

Solas Rubex? Powertech? Anybody have opinions on these props?

What size diameter and p were you running? 4 blade or 3 blade? I've run Mercury Bravo 15 1/4x24p on my Suzuki's before. Just get the correct hub kit for it.

What specific prop did you have.
What RPM and GPS speed did you get at wide open with it?

Lots of props will fit, good quality, that cost less then 700 bucks.

They are 4 blade 15 diameter 24 pitch. The problem is that they no longer make 15 diameter. They only make 15 ¼ now so I have to buy 2 props in order to run right. The Solas and Powertech props are significantly cheaper than Suzuki props. If they are good quality/performance, I will go with them

My buddy is running the Solas prop now and he's happy with them. He's running the same 15 1/4 x 24p 4 blade. I think you'll be happy.

I have a Solas Amita that I keep for spares. I can tell you this.

On the old boat I had a spare that was a Michigan Wheel.

I feel that the Solas is made much better from materials point of view.

I believe Suzuki props were made by Solas.
both are strong on pitch, meaning the slip numbers are always crazy low, sometimes negative.
So if you go solas, stick with 24's just like 13 Rounds said.
If you go Powertech, you may need 25 or even 26 pitch, it would depend on what your numbers are.

Ok. I think I will just go with the Solas. They are the cheapest for a pair and seem to be good quality. Thanks for the advice!
