Default ID This Boat

They held a big poker run in this area over the weekend. There were some seriously sweet boats. This is one of two that I really drooled over and I have no idea what it is. Quad Merc 400's.

I believe that’s the MTI 42’. I saw it yesterday as well. There was a very impressive display of large center consoles.

57’ MTI. Saw it last week and talked to the owner while working on a 41’ Cigarette at the Tickfaw 200 poker run. Made everything around it look tiny. Plenty of pics of it floating around Facebook and Instagram. Search for #Tickfaw200.

When I see a boat like that, the first question that comes to mind is, why?

Yes, I know the answer, but you can buy a real boat for the kind of money that thing cost. Other than to get attention, name one thing that boat is truly good for.

That just reminded me of this. Not that I wouldn't own one if I had a few extra nickles.

Funny, they have a poker run in Columbia sc this weekend and I saw the same boat today at the dock. Thought it was the 57. Pretty damn impressive. Can’t imagine bigger center consoles.

That looks unproportionally odd in my opinion.

Definitely takes a special kind of person to buy a boat like that.

Needs at least another 6' of beam, and for the same money could have an ocean going expedition ship capable of crossing oceans and circling the globe, that is a waste of manpower and materials
