Default whats the best 23ft centeer console

jus thinking out loud and already know the answer but looking for opinions. let just say you have ran the 26 regs and 28 southports but its time to go to something smaller keeping in mind that I have a 17ft whaler as well and maybe get rid of . so your getting older say age 60 and you don't care about going offshore (if you feel like it you charter) . your favorite fishing is fluke durinf summer and chase bass in December and then you pull the boat. looking for the best center console ,no forward seating just a boat that can cruise at 25knts and get me to where I need to be. fluke fishin is 10 miles off th e beach at the reefs in s. jersey and the the bas run could 20 miles up or down the beach Ive had twin f250s for the last 7 years and maybe think I can go to a single 300hp cost is not a real factor bt simplicity is. I used to take a fulr cew on my 28 southport but things have a way of changing. I'm thinking 4 fat asses load it up and go . my thoughts are a 23 blue water,no cats don't want a 23 reg . what are your suggestions . keep in ming going smaller sucks its a tough choice - may be just stick with my 28 southport and enjoy life

The standard names fit the bill but I have really liked the looks and simplicity of the NorthCoast boats. Look well built for fishing

23 contender, it's a 25ft boat lol. Idk why people like those blue waters, it's a 2 piece boat.

Reefrunner deserves a real hard look. Built like a tank.

Don't laugh but I used to have an 83' Mako 224 with a single 200 hpdi that I would take offshore and down to baja, everywhere I take my 27' Contender just not as comfortable. But it was a very seaworthy boat and got about 3pmg and had a range of about 350 miles with the 122g fuel tank. JMO.

Coming from a Pioneer 222SF and into a Southport 28TE, you’ll be very disappointed in anything in a 22-23’ Boat. I love that little Pioneer but it’s not 1/4 the Boat the Southport is.

Not sure if your looking new or used but, the 23' hydrosportCC is pretty bad ass. I fish on my buddies doin exactly what you describe and it's a good fit in my mind.

if simplicity and seaworthiness is your goal, I'd have to agree.

Agree on the first part too. "Hey, my boat is awesome buy that".

I am really impressed with the build of the Reefrunner. No bullshit, Hunt designed, Custom built pocket battlewagon any way you like it. If they come out with a 29-31 Ill be meeting Donna.
