Default Fusion Warranty- FYI

Just a FYI.....

I purchased a Fusion MS-IP700i a couple years back mainly because of the Fusion warranty everyone was talking about. Last summer I noticed the unit was having purple and green lines going through the screen as well as shutting off occasionally and the volume control not working correctly. I was going to wait until the winter when not using the boat to contact Fusion to hopefully send it in to be looked at. They asked that I reboot the system which did not correct the issue. They then asked that I show proof of receipt which I cannot find. I removed the unit from the console to find the serial number to give to Fusion but it’s apparently on a sticker on the bottom of the unit that doesn’t hold up very well and you cannot make out part of the serial number. Needless to say with neither of these Fusion cannot help.

So as a FYI- keep your receipts when purchasing Fusion.
