Default Opinions on CC 22-25

Hey guys, I'll be in the market soon. A little background on me, I grew up here in Miami but cut my boating teeth in the upper Keys. I've had a 1990 17' Aquasport osprey w/ Suzuki 100hp and 96 Seapro 210CC w/ Mariner 150. The Seapro was a nice surprise for the price point. I like dolphin fishing and sandbar Saturdays/Sundays.

Like the subject says I'm looking for opinions on 22-25 ft. Center consoles.

My requirements would be:

-Closed or euro transom
-No wood (2000+?)
-4 stroke power, preferably Yamaha (will take suggestions here)
-Around or less than 7000 lbs fully loaded including trailer
-offshore capability (SE Florida, Florida keys)

It will mainly be used for sandbar weekends with the occasional offshore run to kill some dolphin, sail, wahoo, tuna, etc. and perhaps a Bimini run or 2 per year.

The usual suspects that are familiar to me are:

-Contender
-Competition
-Bluewater
-Regulator

What other brands should I consider along those lines?

I'd love what you all have to say here.

Thanks and cheers!

What is your budget? That will really drive your decision making.

The million dollar question. Can't even begin making suggestions without knowing $$$$.

On the budget question, I would preferably like to pay for it cash and if that's the case then 30-35k. Obviously if it would be financed the budget would be higher.

I know I may be asking for a lot with my budget constraints but knowing exactly what to look for would really help my hunt.

In that case, look for a late '90s, early 2000s Hydra-Sports 2390 with a blown or just old engine. Buy it for $15K and then repower with a brand new Suzuki DF300. You'll have a bullet-proof hull with new 4-stroke power within your budget. You might have to stretch a bit to add new electronics and a new trailer, if needed.
