Default motor knocking

Motor Knocking Noise.

I was going down the lake full speed running good. All of the sudden I get a loud Knocking coming from motor. I shut it down, check it out to see nothing. I crank it back up and knocking is not as bad, but still there. I shut motor off, After about an hour of fishing I crank motor to ease toward boat ramp. The knockin is gone, I speed up , still no knocking. I get wide open and return to ramp with no more knocking. Any ideas what the issue could be???

No it 's in the engine.

I bet the oiling system couldnt keep up at WOT.

You have a bearing in the engine spun or going....

Thanks for the idea, I will check it. I dont think that is it, it was a very rhythmic sound, not like a bearing grind or knocking. I will check it out though. Thanks

Was this in gear, in neutral or both?
